Since block number 52,000 the developers of Rucoin have added a security feature, of more to come, requiring that anyone wishing to mine blocks from now on have to create a named cell.
The cell that you create for mining needs to be empty for now and you will be charged a small fee in RUC for doing this.
The image below will give you a guide of how to do this in the Rucoin client.
I believe that this new feature is a way of the developers who the blocks are being mined by and probably another step toward 51% attack prevention.
How to do this:
In the client go to the Rucoin tab at the top and then click the Microcells Window dropdown menu link.
You will then have this window open:
Click the top left square button with a yellow dot inside, this will take you to this next window:
Make sure create new cell is selected and enter your chosen miner name in the cell name box, make sure that empty cell is selected.
Check the box for use address and paste in your Rucoin wallet address.
Click the large gold safe to the right of the window, pay the fee and then you are ready to solo mine.
Make sure now that you add -minerid=YourMinerName as a tag on your client exe or place this into your Rucoin.conf file.
If you have any problems with this then please use how support forum to ask for help.
